Jennifer Cairns
Jennifer is our head receptionist and office administrator for the practice. She has been with us since September 2007.
Previously she was a receptionist and nurse at a small animal practice in South Wales and before that she was in sales.
When she lived elsewhere she volunteered with ‘Second Chances’ – a Scottish German Shepherd rescue charity as she has a passion for German Shepherds. However, last year she became the proud owner of a Border Terrier puppy named Murray, as she fancied something smaller. She also owns three cats: Pumpkin – a ginger female; Frank – a grey/white male; and Mason – a black/white male.
Outside of Work
Her interests outside of work include the Orkney Folk Festival and leisurely photography.
Her favourite sweetie is Marks and Spencer’s ‘Percy Pigs’.
Her favourite TV Programmes are ‘Larkrise to Candleford’ and ‘Gavin and Stacey’.
